Delicious Roman cuisine Viginiae is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Rome. I have had the pleasure of dining here many times since I first came here 8 years ago. Each time I was here the food was fantastic and if anything, has gotten better year after year. I have had many things on the menu from the Roman artichoke, zucchini flowers, carbonara, amatriciana, lasagna, oxtail, etc. and I do not think it is possible to make a wrong decision on the menu. I also have to give a huge complement to one of the waiters Silvano, who provided me with excelente, warm service in my most recent times visiting the restaurant. This place is a must visit when in Rome

Memorable food. This is a smart restaurant, serving very good Roman dishes. The food was really tasty. My main course was pollo alla romana,. The chicken was cooked to perfection - very tender and still moist. It had a delicious rich tomato and pepperoni sauce. My husband had the oxtail, which was also perfectly cooked. Really memorable. A word of warning: the portions are huge!

I ordered meatballs which was delicious. And the person who took my order and prepared it was extremely nice and friendly, and I really appreciated that.

Memorable Dining Experience! Whenever we come to Rome, we come to Virginiae. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Virginiae is where you need to be. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting from the time you walk in, with a perfect blend of charm and modern elegance. They have two floors of seating inside and as well as “al fresco” dining. We were remembered by Silvano, who is the consummate waiter. We were pleased to meet an owner of the restaurant. In Italy, you are never rushed through a meal. We ordered a Pinot Grigio from the Friuli region, whose bouquet was marked by an impressive fruitiness. (It was a great choice.) We decided to split the homemade Ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese in a butter and sage sauce. The butter and sage sauce was so delicate. Then we shared an order of grilled lamb rib with roasted potatoes. Every dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor from the first bite to the last. The plating was just as impressive as the taste. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners and look forward to returning again the next time we are in Rome. Thank you for a memorable dining experience!

Una cena super! Locale accogliente, camerieri simpatici e disponibili. In primis Silvano! Qualità ottima, tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo preso uno spaghetto cacio e pepe, polpette al sugo, tagliatelle al ragu e bistecca con patate. Ci tornerei molto volentieri, lo consiglio sicuramente!

We enjoyed the friendly and attentive waitstaff. And the good tasted like my mom’s amazing cooking. Just what we needed.

10/10 Honestly the best meal I've ever had, highly recommend the parpadelle with oxtail sauce. I spent 50 euros for 3 courses which is a steal considering that you are in the heart of rome, the quality of the food and the great athmosphere and service.

Lasagna was excellent, inside of restaurant is very nice. Cosy, but not crowded. Staff was attentive. I would go back.

Probablemente los mejores spaghetti a la carbonara que he probado en mi vida. La atención del Silvano excepcional. Sin duda, un 10.
